AMERICAS

IN FALL OF 2008, Oni Buchanan will be performing her vibrant new concert program, AMERICAS, featuring solo piano works written by "American" composers from both northern and southern hemispheres. Ms. Buchanan chooses colorful, charismatic works by Ginastera, Villa-Lobos, Adina Izarra, Tania Léon, Aaron Copland, Joan Tower, and Kelly-Marie Murphy, who hail respectively from Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, the United States, and Canada.

Piano works to be performed on the "Americas" program include:
