My reed trio (with my ASU/UW friends Laura Medisky and Lesley Hughes) is playing our first recital this weekend. We're preparing to record an audition DVD for the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, and wanted to get in at least one public performance beforehand. We'll be playing trios by Joseph Canteloube, Alexandre Tansman, and Heitor Villa-Lobos. If you're in Madison, come check it out: Saturday, Feb. 21, 1:30p.m., Morphy Hall, UW-Madison.
